First International Meeting (IM) December 2018, Oswiecim, Poland

Our First International Meeting took place in Poland, Oświęcim (December 2018). The meeting was organised by Powiat Oświęcimski Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie (PCPR) (Oświęcim County Family Support Centre) and it was attended by Project Partners - representatives of UK BUTTERFLIES LTD non-profit organizations from Great Britain and Edu Smart Training Centre Limited from Ireland. 


We discussed the issues and strategies for project outcomes development, risk management, needs. The materials developed during the project are to play a supportive role for the pedagogue, psychologist and educator, therefore tools consultations will be carried out on an ongoing basis, and changes will be made according to the recipients' suggestions. Work on the creation of new tools for social work lasted until late evening hours.


Thank you for your commitment and valuable information at the tool development stage.


We are pleased to welcome two project experts: Mrs. Anna Chojnacka- the manager of the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Grojec and Mrs. Maria Kufel - the manager of the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Osiek. 


As part of the project, the following results of intellectual work will be established:
1. Standard of professional competence for social workers, family assistants and family coordinators
2. Tools for performing professional tasks by social workers - FAMILY STAR program
3. Guide and instructions for social workers on how to work with the family using the FAMILY STAR tools

The last scheduled phase of the project implementation will be dissemination activities, within which the following are planned:
- Seminar disseminating the results of intellectual work in Bradford.
- Seminar disseminating the results of intellectual work in Wicklow.
- Conference disseminating the results of intellectual work in Oświęcim.

The project assumes working out universal results at least on a European scale.

First International Meeting (IM) May 2019 Bradford, UK

Our Second International Meeting took place in Bradford, UK (May 2019). This meeting was organised after the completion of work related to the production of the first intellectual result. We discussed outputs and summaries the first mobility following with detailed analysis of the results of work, assessment of the adequacy as a result of adopted methodology. This allowed us to clearly assess whether the adopted methodology of work is appropriate.

 

Both positive and negative validation of the result  was discussed and this will allow paving the way for further work. In addition, in the event of a negative assessment of the project's effects to date, it will enable corrective action to be taken at an early stage of its implementation (thanks to which the implementation of the recovery plan will be effective and will avoid duplication of erroneous assumptions when developing further intellectual work results). A second important assumption for the implementation of the meeting, we also summarised a detailed division of work related to the development of tools for performing professional tasks by social assistance employees (O2 result).

Third International Meeting (IM) November 2019 Wicklow, Ireland

Our Third International Meeting took place in Wicklow, Ireland (Nov 2019). The main aim of the meeting was to summarise effects of the project implementation so far and to present the conclusions of the monitoring conducted by each of the partner organisations. 


The meeting had a working character - reports were presented. We discussed individual impact of the project at the local level and its dissemination for which particular partners are responsible. We also summaries the methods adopted so far alongside with the effectiveness of communication, management and avoidance of risks diagnosed with its verification and new ideas



 The meeting served not only to assess the substantive side of the implemented project, but also its organisational and administrative aspects. We also discussed Brexit and its impact on the Polish Citizens in the UK and Irish Citizens. 


The meeting was organised after the completion of works related to the creation of the next results and outputs of an intellectual work. 


It also aimed at a detailed analysis of the effects of work and the adequacy of the result. Both positive and negative validation of the result discussed, will allow paving the way for further work and further mobility of the social care workers.
